The central government has sent a letter to all the municipal corporations of the state. Gurugram Municipal Corporation Commissioner Ashok Kumar Garg has given information about the scheme.
He said that the central government has fixed some criteria for PM Awas Yojana Part-2. According to these criteria, economically weaker sections, MIG families, who do not have a house anywhere.
They will be eligible to buy or construct a house under PM Awas Yojana- Urban 2.0. The special thing is that you will get the benefit of the scheme only if you do not have a house in your name anywhere in the country.
Application for the scheme will be online
Commissioner Garg said that one has to apply online for the scheme. Soon a portal will be launched for this. The Municipal Corporation Commissioner said that according to the guidelines of the Central Government, it is necessary to link the Aadhaar number of the family members of the applicant with the mobile.
If the number is not linked, the OTP will not be sent and the application will be cancelled.
The Municipal Corporation team will verify
Garg further said that after applying, the Municipal Corporation team will go to the land and verify. If the information given at the time of application is found to be wrong during verification, the application will be cancelled.
